Accepting new clients
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and emerging adults. She specializes in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression and mood concerns, trauma and complex trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, identity development, life transitions, and relational challenges. Jessica especially enjoys supporting LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, and clients navigating difficult family dynamics, relationship challenges, and questions related to self-worth and identity.
Jessica has experience providing mental health treatment across residential, day treatment, and outpatient settings, supporting clients with a wide range of clinical needs and levels of care. Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, trauma-focused approaches, Internal Family Systems(IFS)-informed work, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, family systems, relational therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Jessica believes therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely understood, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand the connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and values while developing practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.
With experience supporting children, teens, and families, Jessica adapts therapy to meet each client’s developmental needs, strengths, and preferences. Sessions may incorporate play, creativity, mindfulness, skills-building, and opportunities for deeper emotional processing depending on what feels most helpful for each individual. She believes there is no single therapeutic approach that works for everyone and strives to create a space where clients can build self-understanding, strengthen relationships, process difficult experiences, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with their values.
Outside of counseling, Jessica enjoys reading, playing piano, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her pets. She has a particular interest in books related to psychology, trauma, relationships, and personal growth, and enjoys continuing to learn and share resources that may support clients’ growth and self-understanding.
