Emily Walker, LPC (they/them)
Emily Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with a focus on disordered eating and body image, and a passion for dismantling the harmful impacts of diet culture in clinical practice. They bring a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive approach to both therapy and education, with an emphasis on practical and applicable skills.
They have experience working across multiple levels of care, including training at Randall Children's Hospital as part of a multidisciplinary team, and post-graduate work in a residential eating disorder facility collaborating with dietitians, medical providers, and clinicians. They have spent the past four years in outpatient practice supporting clients with disordered eating, body image concerns, and co-occurring conditions.
Emily enjoys integrating teaching into both clinical and professional settings. They have led and facilitated skills-based groups for clients, including:
-CBT skills groups
-Art therapy processing groups
-Intuitive eating groups
-Emotion Regulation Skills for Children and Teens
They have also provided training and psychoeducation for clinicians and interns, including:

-Art Therapy Interventions

Emily holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Lewis & Clark College and integrates creative and relational approaches into their work. They deeply value ongoing learning, staying up to date on best practices, and collaborating with other clinicians to support thoughtful care.
