Kristin is a hatha and prenatal yoga instructor (RYT 200 from The Movement Center, Portland, Oregon 2011). She is also a registered caregiver through the State of Oregon. In addition, as a graduate of Apositiva Institute in Portland, Oregon, she is certified as a hypnotherapist and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) coach.
Kristin is passionate about integrating mental, physical and spiritual health. Her yoga and mindfulness sessions focus on improving energy, flexibility and alignment for all body types and levels, offering variations of poses combining a variety of wellness techniques that offer maximum benefit for overall well being. Kristin will guide you with an intentional, breath-focused practice with incredible healing power.
Yoga/Energy Enhancement/Uplifting Yoga provides a way to center yourself, build peace and relaxation into a busy life, and nurture one’s body. Kristin’s yoga sessions combine a focus on physical wellness with supportive techniques that are sure to leave you energized and revitalized. Her guided meditations will help you connect with nature’s healing energy. These sessions greatly improve your self-awareness, energy flow and overall state of wellness. During your intake session, you’ll discuss your needs and goals. Kristin will customize each session to suit you best.

Kristin uses a synergistic combination of hypnotherapy and NLP to tap into the power of your subconscious mind, in order to improve specific areas of your life. These sessions will take you on a guided inner journey connecting you with your inner resources, allowing you to gain the improvements that you desire. Kristin uses guided imagery and other processes to help you address your goals, by taking you to your deepest level of relaxation, guiding you into your subconscious mind. Kristin will guide you in a safe and comfortable manner, freeing you from the stressors of daily life, while also giving you a refreshed perspective. During your intake session, you’ll discuss and set goals that fit your particular needs. Kristin will customize each session to suit your goals.
Hypnotherapy & NLP Services
- Initial consult (90 minutes): $120 (Includes getting acquainted and discussing goals)
- Regular session (60 minutes): $120
- 4-session package (60 minutes each): $400
Typical Session:
Once welcomed into our lovely, safe and relaxing office you will get comfortable with pillows and a blanket. There will be gentle lighting and music. You will share your goals and needs to be addressed in the session. Once settled and comfortable, Kristin will guide you into a deeply relaxed hypnotic state where you will be highly receptive to suggestions, visualizations and experiences which will feel realistic. This process of journeying lasts approximately 45 minutes. You will be gently and safely guided back to normal consciousness then may share your experiences. You will be offered a foot massage and/or back massage while you are sharing. This is optional yet very supportive and relaxing.
Kristin also offers a package that includes yoga, hypnotherapy and NLP for the same price as for yoga or hypnotherapy/NLP alone. She will customize your sessions to include all of these services, improving your life. Kristin welcomes scheduling a consultation phone call or Zoom appointment, to get acquainted and to answer all of your questions. Daydreaming, Relaxing, Floating… people say this is how hypnotherapy feels. Hypnosis is the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person is highly responsive to suggestion or direction. Its use in therapy, typically to recover suppressed memories or to allow modification of behavior by suggestion.
Pain control, stress management, and more rapid healing has been accepted by the American Medical Association since 1958. Although everyday use of hypnosis has not quite reached mainstream availability here yet, in Europe hypnosis has been used to assist in operations and healing for several decades. The British Medical Association endorsed hypnosis in 1892 and approved the use for childbirth, pain, etc. in 1955. “Bypassing the critical factor” is about getting beyond limiting beliefs. Hypnosis can be used effectively on medical, dental and personal issues.
However, if you have the limiting belief that the mind cannot create a powerful change, you will limit your ability to do so.
In hypnosis, this limiting belief can be bypassed. “The establishing of acceptable selective thinking,” the second part of the definition, refers to using hypnosis to guide someone into a receptive state of mind by using a hypnotic induction. Opening the mind to selective thinking creates the mental environment or state of mind that enables you to change limiting beliefs (the ones you acquired during your lifetime), so that you can empower yourself with new and more useful ones.
