Whether you’re seeking counseling services for an ongoing mental health problem, or just need some help dealing with a life stressor, I would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you. Seeking counseling is a positive step toward taking control of your life.
My eclectic style allows me to use many different tools to ensure that each client receives the individual care they deserve. Counseling provides many personal benefits, as well as positive changes in your relationships. Those who suffer from depression, anxiety, and stress, will develop skills to cope with symptoms day to day, and create long term plans to address ongoing issues.
I am committed to listening to my clients with empathy and guiding them through the counseling process with respect, humor, kindness and a genuine desire to see them succeed in this process. I am here to hold space and am honored to be with you on your journey to contentment.
I am a Master’s level clinician seeing individual adults and couples, specializing in maternal mental health. I have completed the first level of Gottman Relationship Training, and am a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator. The Bringing Baby Home workshop teaches parents how to strengthen their relationship and improve communication during the transition to parenthood.
To make an appointment, please call me at 971-238-2973 for your free 15 minute consultation. We will discuss fees and available appointment slots at that time. I do not currently accept insurance, but I do typically have a sliding scale fee slot available.
I teach Gottman Bringing Baby Home classes throughout the year, as well as a series called Navigating Your Relationship Throughout Parenthood, which is inspired by the full BBH workshop. I also teach a Perinatal Mental Health class. Details on class registration and information can be found at holdencounseling.eventbrite.com.
