Hello! I’m Annalisa.
I am excited to get to know you!
I am passionate about helping people process and maneuver through life’s ups and downs. Whether you are struggling with an addiction, processing a trauma, or need to process a life transition like a new job or relationship, I want to help you find balance and freedom. Living a purposeful life is about being in connection with others and being able to maintain balance when life gets stressful.
I enjoy working with adults and being able to help facilitate healing in their lives. I believe therapy is about supporting the client where they are at and helping them become aware of their own strengths to promote healing. Each individual has the capacity to change their life and do it in a way that is most meaningful to them.
I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University as well as a certificate in Trauma Response. I have a Bachelors in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Services. I have spent much my counseling experience with individuals struggling with their sobriety in an inpatient rehab center here in Portland. I have worked with victims of sex trafficking overseas and fully enjoy seeing the growth and renewal that happens with good support and community. I have also worked as a first contact in the medical profession for over 3 years which has cultivated a passion for providing holistic care for individuals.
