Speech and Language Pathologist
I am dedicated to helping your child communicate their thoughts and feelings in whatever way they are able.
I believe that trust and connection are the most important factors in any therapeutic relationship and I do whatever I can to develop these with my clients and their families. The research-based speech therapy techniques I use are embedded in play, which is shown to help children maintain attention, increase their cognitive abilities, improve participation, build positive interactions, and progress in their speech and language goals.
I’m also interested in combining my clinical experience with speech and language therapy and my personal experience with art. This may include the art of body movement, dance, or yoga, drawing, painting, or creating in a variety of other ways. There is research to indicate that the use of art in therapy can improve communication and concentration and can help reduce feelings of isolation.

Sprouted Roots Therapy & Wellness does not directly bill medical insurance. Instead, we provide a superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance company for out-of-network provider reimbursement. Although, we are out of network with insurance panels this does not mean your insurance will not cover all or a portion of speech therapy treatment. It is your responsibility to check with your provider to determine if your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits for pediatric speech therapy. Speech therapy sessions are reimbursable through Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, and we accept all HSA and FSA debit/credit cards. Oregon Health Plan, Medicare and national insurances that exclude out-of network visits will not be eligible for reimbursement.
